“GILLETTE 2014 ARE YOU A TRUE BRAZIL FAN? CONTEST”
Eligibility
This “Gillette 2014 Are You A True Brazil Fan? Contest” (“Contest”) is open to all Malaysian citizens, permanent residents and work pass holders who are at least 18 years of age, (“Participants”). This Contest is NOT open to employees (and their immediate families) of Procter & Gamble (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd (the “Organiser”), Procter & Gamble Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia, agencies, including any third party suppliers, distributors or vendors of Procter & Gamble entities in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia. Contest Period
This Contest begins on 1st April 2014 at 10.00 a.m. Malaysia time and ends on 15th May 2014 at 10.00 p.m. Malaysia time (“Contest Period”). The Organiser reserves the right to amend the Contest Period at any time without prior notice. All contest forms received outside the Contest Period will be disqualified. The Organiser’s decision shall be final and binding and no further correspondence with the Participants will be entertained. Method of Participation
1. The Contest form is submitted via a digital platform – http://www.tesco.com.my/eShop/Gillette/ 2. Participating brands of the Organiser are both variants of Gillette products: Gillette’s Limited Edition Brazil Mach 3 Razor or Special Edition Brazil Team Pro Glide Razor. Participating stores in this Contest are all Malaysia Tesco stores AND also Tesco e-shop. 3. A receipt from a Tesco store or Tesco e-shop is required as proof of purchase of either Gillette’s Limited Edition Brazil Mach 3 Razor or Special Edition Brazil Team Pro Glide Razor will entitle the Participant to one entry in this Contest. 4. Eligible Participants are required to complete the online form with a confirmed Tesco e-shop or Tesco store receipt no. as proof of purchase and complete the submission by completing a slogan in not more than 20 words. The slogan serves as a tie-breaker and will be judged in terms of its creativity. For detailed contest submission information, please visit http://www.tesco.com.my/eShop/Gillette/. Entries that are posted, faxed or emailed to Procter & Gamble Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., will not be accepted as an entry. 5. All contest forms must be submitted by 15th May 2014 (10.00 p.m. Malaysia time). 6. Incomplete or illegible forms will be disqualified. The Organiser reserves the right to reject digital contest forms that are incomplete or have been tampered with. The Organiser’s decision shall be final and binding and no further correspondence with the Participants will be entertained. 7. Each Participant may submit more than one digital contest form in this Contest.
Winner Selection & Prize
1. The winning entry will be selected by the Organiser based on the most creative slogan submitted. The Organiser’s selection shall be final and binding and no further correspondence with the Participants will be entertained. 2. 1 Winner will be selected as the grand prize winner and will win an all-expense paid trip to Brazil for 2 people (4 days 3 nights Brazil stay from 4th to 7th June 2014). The selected Winner will need to provide photocopies of passport ID to the Organiser for flight and hotel reservation purposes. 3. P&G shall announce the winner of this Contest (“Winner”) on 18th May 2014. The Winner will be notified via telephone and email within 3 days after the Contest Period. Thereafter, a congratulatory letter setting out details on the redemption of the prize will be posted to the Winner. In the event the Winner does not respond to the Organiser in accordance with the letter and within such period of time stipulated by the Organiser in the letter, the prize shall automatically be forfeited. Forfeited prize shall be dealt with at the reasonable discretion of the Organiser. The Winner whose prize has been so forfeited shall not be entitled to any compensation, and shall be deemed to have forfeited any and all claims, legal or equitable, to that prize. The Organiser’s decision shall be final and binding and no further correspondence with the Participants will be entertained. 4. Prize is strictly non-transferable or returnable or exchangeable for cash or any other item. The Organiser may, at its sole discretion, substitute or replace the prize with any other prize of equal or similar value (the determination of which is at the sole discretion of the Organiser) without prior notice. 5. The Winner will have to produce his/her original identity card and congratulatory letter for the purposes of verification to claim the prize. The Organiser reserves the right to appoint a third party to conduct the verification of the Winner. The Winner agrees that the Organiser may provide all necessary information to such third parties to facilitate such service. The Winner will have to bear their own traveling costs and make their own arrangements for the collection or redemption of the prize. 6. The Organiser and/or its affiliates shall not, under any circumstances, be liable for any loss or damage, howsoever suffered by your participation in the Contest and/or during the course of accepting and/or using the prize. 7. The Winner shall, at the Organiser’s request, and at no charge, participate in any promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) in connection with this Contest, failing which the prize won shall be forfeited. 8. Winner grants the Organiser the rights to use his/her name, particulars, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media formats and through any media channels globally and in perpetuity without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Contest (including any outcome thereof), and/or promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Organiser. The Winner acknowledges and agrees that the Organiser has the right to edit, adapt, modify, reproduce, promote, and/or otherwise use the promotional materials created, including videos and photographs, to produce public relations materials, advertisements in print, editorials, marketing tools and other printed matters, including materials for the Organiser’s website and/or website of any of its affiliates. Winner shall not have any claim nor be entitled to, any payment for the use, publishing and/or broadcasting of the promotional and/or public relations materials created. Furthermore all rights, title and interest in and to the abovementioned promotional and/or public relations materials, including all intellectual property rights and moral rights thereto, shall be the property of the Organiser. 9. Winner further agrees, at the Organiser’s request, to execute any and all documents to give effect to the terms and conditions contained herein, including but not limited to documents in relation to the claim and receipt of prize, consent, authorisation, releases, waivers and/or indemnities for participation in prize components, and intellectual property rights and moral rights.
General
1. Procter & Gamble (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (“P&G”) is the organiser of this Contest. 2. The Organiser reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any Participant that it determines to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of this Contest. Such Participant will be deemed to be acting in breach or potential breach of these terms and conditions. 3. If for any reason this Contest is not capable of running as planned for whatsoever reason, the Organiser reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Contest and/or invalidate any affected contest forms, without prior notice to the Participants. 4. The Organiser’s decision on all matters relating to this Contest shall be final and binding. The Organiser is not obliged to correspond with the Participants. 5. By participating in this Contest, Participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions may be modified at any time by the Organiser without prior notice. 6. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. 7. Any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or relating to these terms and conditions, or the breach, termination or invalidity thereof shall be settled by arbitration in accordance with the Rules for Arbitration of the Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration.
PRIVACY POLICY
The Organiser, through its agency, shall, in accordance with the Organiser’s privacy policy, collect personal information contained in this Contest entry form for the purposes of conducting this Contest, including but not limited to, selecting and notifying and publicising the winner’s details under these terms and conditions. This information may be used for future marketing and promotional activities of the Organiser. The Organiser reserves the right to appoint third parties to conduct this Contest or its future marketing and promotional activities. The Participant agrees that the Organiser may provide all necessary information to such third parties to facilitate such service. The Participant further agrees that the personal information collected in this contest form may be transferred to a country or territory outside Malaysia. Participants who do not provide the information requested and consent to such usage/publication shall be disqualified from participating in this Contest.
